Not sure where to travel to this summer? Well, don’t think about it too much because we got your back. From beaches to lakes to mountains and music festivals, we researched the top places to travel to this July for all preferences! Check out our three favorite destinations below:
Austria — Terrified of traveling to the beach because of sharks or other creepy crawly sea creatures? According to Lonely Planet’s travel experts, Austria is one of the most scenic places in the world to take a cool dip in any of their natural crystal clear lakes. Lakes in Austria such as Wolfgang or Mondsee are perfect for family fun dive bombing, lakeside jetties or just to simply relax.
New Zealand — Not quite ready for hot weather just yet? Embrace winter in Queenstown, New Zealand where they celebrate by hosting a 10-day winter festival. Bundle up and enjoy the community with music, comedy and activities for everyone. In between festival events, check out New Zealand’s snow capped peaks of the Remarkables or take your skis to shred some snow!
California — What better way to celebrate the nation’s birthday than on its own turf? Beach lovers can spend their days on California’s beautiful coast or check out San Diego’s inredible pyrotechnic display in its bay. Either way, California is jammed packed with plenty of activities for every one!
There you have it, folks. Hopefully we made your decision easier on where to travel to this summer. If so, check out GSP’s new TSA passenger centralized screening checkpoint on the way. Read Lonely Planet’s full article here for the entire scoop.
