Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport hosted the Southeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (SEC-AAAE) Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Greenville. This conference started on Saturday May 1st and wrapped up the afternoon of Wednesday, May 3rd.
GSP welcomed airport executives, commissioners and elected officials, aviation business professionals, and aviation faculty and students on Saturday afternoon. The 2016 SEC-AAAE Conference focused on leadership, through “Leadership – Bridge to the Future.” Each day, sessions and forums focused on various aspects of airport leadership and development. Additionally, attendees spent time networking, visiting with sponsors and vendors, and enjoyed outings throughout Greenville and the Upstate.
With Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport amidst the WINGSPAN developments, which is focused on improving the travelers’ experience, GSP was thrilled to host this conference and share the journey of the WINGSPAN with airports in the region. Thanks to the conference sponsors, exhibiting companies, and Hyatt Regency for helping showcase the southern charm of “Yeah, That Greenville”!
